Romana Beach Resort

We loved staying at this hotel. It absolutely exceeded our expectations. The facilities are new, modern, nicely furnished, spacious and clean. The seafront location was extremely convenient. The beach is right in front of the hotel. The city centre is some 20 min away on foot. It was very quiet, just what we needed. The pools were wonderful. The kitchen was very well equipped and spacious, so we could cook and share our meals. We also very much enjoyed the balcony and the view. The beds were comfortable. Everything was squeaky clean and neat and there were fresh towels. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of options. The highlight of this place, however, are its employees. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, from the doorman, over the cleaning staff to reception and restaurant staff. We truly felt at home. We highly recommend this place and will certainly be back.

Makarska is very familiar city to us. This was our sixth time in Makarska during five years. This was our first time in this hotel and previously we have just walked pass it (maybe like fifty times?). So we knew that the hotel is a bit further away from the old town at it was ok to us. We arrived about 10PM and the staff at the reception was still very happy and welcoming though it was a bit late at the evening. We got our room very fast and the room was really big and comfy. And clean. A bit of wore down here and there but it didn't bother us. We also got a free upgrade to the sea view room which was really nice. We also knew that travelling to Makarska in the middle of the October would mean that it's low season. So the hotel was quite quiet. Plenty of room at the breakfast and the selection of the breakfast was really good. We stayed for three nights and were very pleased.

Breakfast very good. Sea view room very nice, complimentary bottle of water and Rose wine in room on arrival. Ample parking, friendly staff.

Wi-fi pretty good, exceeded my low expectations anyway. Air conditioning in the suite working great and easy to control. The superior suite has direct access to the pool area, which was very nice. There is even a kids pool and a kids area (closed) which is attended every day 11:00-19:00. A gym is also available. It's not crazy equipped, but it has everything you need to do a good workout. Breakfast was superb, the croissants are to die for :D

My room was surprisingly upgraded to a Deluxe 2-bedroom sea side view, and I’m super grateful for that. The breakfasts were various and tasty. The beach is less than a min walk from the hotel’s restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel
